SchoolCup

Creating the digital platform for France's largest inter-school tournament

Website · Events · Sport

Context

SchoolCup aims to turn school sport into a real spectacle, bringing secondary school students together for inter-school football tournaments in iconic stadiums. Launched in Bordeaux in 2025 with more than 10,000 students at its first edition, the initiative has expanded to French cities including Toulouse, Lyon, Nice, Nantes and Bordeaux. Events combine competition, supporters, cheerleading, entertainment, ticketing and partners. ligne8 Studio supported the digital platform presenting the concept, structuring each city, showcasing participating schools, explaining selection rules, directing visitors to applications and ticketing, and giving the event an identity matching its ambition: by students, for students.

Objectives

  • Create a clear, energetic website to establish SchoolCup as a national event for secondary-school football.
  • Structure city-specific event pages with dates, stadiums, participating schools, schedules, FAQs and ticketing links.
  • Make key journeys easier: understand the concept, apply as a player, vote on Instagram, buy a ticket and become a partner.

Our contribution

  • Design and develop the SchoolCup website with event navigation, about, team, partners, gallery, FAQ and contact.
  • Create city page templates to present tournaments, participating schools, competition formats and practical information.
  • Integrate conversion journeys: applications, Instagram votes, Weezevent ticketing links, partner information and contact.
  • Develop a sports-focused, event-led, mobile-first visual direction for a secondary-school audience and pre-match traffic peaks.
